Erste Ausgabe. Cotsen 6360. Französischsprachige Ausgabe. Mit 51 überwiegend ganzseitigen und von Pochoir-Meister Jean Saudé handkolorierten Abbildungen (darunter auch die Vorsatzillustrationen) mit integriertem Text. Gedruckt auf Papier Lafuma durch Bellenand, Fontenay-aux-Roses. Einband nur leicht gebräunt, gering berieben und am Rückendeckel etwas knickspurig. Bezugspapier an den Kanten etwas beschabt und an den Außengelenken stellenweise etwas eingerissen. Seiten im weißen Rand stellenweise minimal farb- bzw. stockfleckig, ansonsten sehr gutes Exemplar mit schön erhaltenen Farbillustrationen.
Original cardboard fully covered with decorative paper mounted along the spine and outer edges, featuring a coloured cover illustration. First edition. Cotsen 6360. French-language edition. With 51 illustrations, mostly full-page and including the endpaper illustrations, hand-coloured by Pochoir master Jean Saudé, with integrated text. Printed on Lafuma paper by Bellenand, Fontenay-aux-Roses. Binding slightly darkened, with minor rubbing abd some creasing to the rear cover. Cover paper slightly scuffed along the edges and with small tears at the outer joints. Occasional minor colour resp. foxing spots in the margins, otherwise fine copy with beautifully preserved colour illustrations.
