[teilkolorierter Kupferstich, gerahmt / partly handcolored copper engraving, framed]. (Matthäus Seutter, geboren am 20. September 1678 in Augsburg, gestorben März 1757 ebenda. Deutscher Kartograf und Kupferstecher, Gründer der Druckerei und des Verlages Seutter).
Dekorativer Kupferstich um 1735, teilkolorierte Karte des Herzogtums Kleve mit der Grafschaft Mark in dem Gebiet Köln im Süden, Venlo im Westen, Soest im Osten und Ahaus im Norden, die Fossa Eugeniana als „De Neuwe Grift“, unter anderem die Städte Düsseldorf, Neuss, Münster, Coesfeld, Dortmund…unten links große Wappenkartusche, oben rechts Meilenanzeiger und Legende. Karte gerahmt hinter Glas/Passepartout im teils vergoldeten Holzrahmen. Nicht ausgerahmt. Maße Abbildung: 49,5 x 58,0 cm. Maße Rahmen: 70,0 x 77,0 cm. Rahmen mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren, wenig bestoßen. Insgesamt sehr gutes Exemplar.
Decorative copperplate engraving circa 1735, partially colored map of the Duchy of Cleves with the County of Mark in the area of Cologne to the south, Venlo to the west, Soest to the east, and Ahaus to the north. The Fossa Eugeniana as „De Neuwe Grift“ (De Neuwe Grift) features, among others, the cities of Düsseldorf, Neuss, Münster, Coesfeld, and Dortmund. A large coat of arms cartouche is shown at the bottom left, and a mile marker and legend are shown at the top right. Map framed behind glass/mounted in a partially gilded wooden frame. Not removed from the frame. Image dimensions: 49.5 x 58.0 cm. Frame dimensions: 70.0 x 77.0 cm. Frame with slight signs of wear, minor bumping. Overall, a very good copy.
