Vorsätze etwas stockfleckig, Exlibris mit Abklatsch. Seiten leicht gebräunt, Frontispiz und Titelblatt mit leicht gebräuntem Schatten und Stegen mit leichter Rotfärbung vom Schnitt ausgehend. Ein Blatt lose beiliegend. Gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar.
Original cloth binding with colour illustration on the front cover. Second edition, printed in the year of first publication. English-language edition. With frontispiece and 15 additional colour illustrations, many full-page. Binding slightly rubbed, rear cover somewhat stained. Endpapers somewhat foxed, with a bookplate and offsetting. Pages lightly darkened; frontispiece and title page with a lightly darkened shadow, and the inner margins showing slight red staining from the edges. One leaf detached. A good to very good copy.
