Edition umfasst den Faksimileband und den wissenschaftlichen Kommentarband von Luigi Michelini Tocci, aus dem Italienischen übersetzt von Angelika Hocke-Asam. Sehr gutes Exemplar.
Facsimile volume in full leather with gilt spine lettering and gilt ornamental decoration, marbled endpapers and gilt edges. Commentary volume in beige full cloth with gilt lettering on a leather lettering label on the upper cover. Both volumes housed together in the original cloth-covered case, with an integrated compartment for the facsimile volume beneath the shelf supporting the commentary volume. Second edition. Complete facsimile edition, comprising 12 calendar double-pages framed by polychrome floral borders with integrated miniatures, depicting the signs of the zodiac recto and labours of the months verso, 12 full-page, heightened-in-gold colour miniatures in ornamental frames with floral and animal motifs and drolleries, and 18 decorative pages with ornamental initials and text, likewise framed in ornamental borders. The edition comprises the facsimile volume and the scholarly commentary volume by Luigi Michelini Tocci, translated from the Italian by Angelika Hocke-Asam. Fine copy.
