Dekorative, altkolorierte (Grenz- und Landschaftskolorierung) Karte Belgiens mit seinen siebzehn Provinzen um 1730. Die detaillierte Karte ist mit vielen Ortsnamen, Bergen, Bäumen, Flüssen usw. ausgestattet. In der oberen linken Ecke befindet sich eine schöne allegorische Titelkartusche, die die Wappen der „XVII Provinzen“. Text der Titelkartusche: „XVII. Provinciae Belgii sive Germaniae Inferioris priscis temporib, Circulo Burgundico S.R.I. annumeratae quarum X. hodie maximam partem Hispaniarum non nullae Galliae, Regis ditioni subjacent, VII. vero sub nomme Foederatarum Provinciar libertate gaudent Studio et Opera. Matthei Seutteri. Sac. Caes. Maj. Geographi. Augusta“. Rechts unten schöne allegorische Kartusche mit Text: „Totum Belgium sive XVII. Provinciae continent Latitudine 88 Longitudine 60. Milliaria Gallica. Numerantur in istis 212. Urbes et 659i. Pagi“ und mit Meilenzeiger. Karte durch eine Galerie fachmännisch gerahmt hinter Glas und Passepartout im teils vergoldeten Holzrahmen. Nicht ausgerahmt. Maße Abbildung: 50,0 x 58,0 cm. Maße Rahmen: 64,5 x 71,5 cm. Rahmen minimal bestoßen. Sehr gutes Exemplar.
