Nummer 26 von 100 (gesamt 125) nummerierten Original-Farbholzschnitten in Schwarz und Rot auf Büttenpapier. Unterhalb der Abbildung von Ewald Matare in Blei signiert. Der Farbholzschnitt wurde eigens für die Vorzugsausgabe des Werkverzeichnisses, Peters 1958 geschaffen. Werkverzeichnis Peters 326; Werd 404. Maße Blatt: 18,8 x 18,5 cm. Maße Abbildung: 13,3 x 17,0 cm. Blatt rückseitig am Rand umlaufend ca. 1cm breit mit braunem Papierklebeband aus ehemaliger Rahmung, am unteren Rand ca. 2cm Einriss. Insgesamt noch gute Zustand.
Number 26 of 100 (total edition of 125) numbered original color woodcuts in black and red on laid paper. Signed in pencil by Ewald Mataré below the image. The color woodcut was created specifically for the deluxe edition of the catalogue raisonné (Peters 1958). Catalogue raisonné references: Peters 326; Werd 404. Sheet dimensions: 18.8 x 18.5 cm. Image dimensions: 13.3 x 17.0 cm. Brown paper tape (from a previous framing) runs along the entire edge of the sheet’s verso (approx. 1 cm wide); there is a tear of approx. 2 cm at the bottom edge. Overall condition remains good.
