Band 3 mit eingeprägter Wappeninsignie „Les ses dire“ und großflächigen Eintragungen von alter Hand in Tinte auf vorderem Vorsatz, Namenseintrag auf hinterem Vorsatzblatt, beides von Joseph Carvill, Loughinisland, Irland. Blätter wenig fleckig, vereinzelt schwach braunfleckig, an den Kanten teils etwas gebräunt. Gute Exemplare. Volumes 2-8 in 13th edition, volume 1 without declaration. English language edition. Volume 1 with frontispiece. Full leather bindings of the times with gilt embossed number on spine and gilt decor. Covers significantly rubbed and with small missing parts at the upper spines, one head band is missing. 3 front covers almost completely loosened from the book block. Endpapers darkened at the margins. Volume 3 with embossed armorial bearing „Les ses dire“ and long private notes by old hand in ink on endpaper and inner cover, in the back with name inscription, both by Joseph Carvill, Loughinisland, Ireland. Sheets only partly spotted, some margins darkened. Good copies.
