Original-Kupferstich, Blatt aus der sogenannten ersten „Pomona Austriaca“, die von Johann Kraft herausgegeben und im Verlag Gräffer in Wien 1792-96 als „Abhandlung von den Obstbäumen, worinn ihre Gestalt, Erziehung und Pflege angezeigt und beschrieben wird“ verlegt wurde. Der in kräftigen Farben altkolorierte Kupferstich zeigt zwei Pflaumensorten mit Frucht, Blatt und Blüte. Professionell im teils vergoldeten Holzrahmen hinter Glas/Passepartout gerahmt. Nicht ausgerahmt. Maße Abbildung: 21,0 x 14,0 cm. Maße Rahmen: 36,5 x 30,0 cm. Sehr guter Zustand.
Original copper engraving, a page from the so-called first „Pomona Austriaca,“ edited by Johann Kraft and published by Gräffer in Vienna between 1792 and 1796 as „Treatise on Fruit Trees, in which their form, cultivation, and care are shown and described.“ The copper engraving, hand-colored in vibrant hues, depicts two plum varieties with fruit, leaf, and blossom. Professionally framed in a partially gilded wooden frame behind glass/passe-partout. Not examined out of the frame. Image dimensions: 21.0 x 14.0 cm. Frame dimensions: 36.5 x 30.0 cm. Frame with a few tiny chips. Very good condition.
