Walch, Johann: Östliche Halbkugel. [1812]. [Original-Kupferstich, kolloriert, gerahmt / copper engraving, colored, framed]. (Johann Walch, geboren am 25. November 1757 in Kempten, gestorben am 23. März 1815 in Augsburg. Deutscher Maler, Zeichner, Kupferstecher, Kartograph sowie Verleger).

Original-Kupferstich, zeigt Afrika, Europa, Asien und Australien, handkoloriert. Neben dem Stich, rechts und links Erklärung der Zeichen. Im vergoldeten Holzrahmen hinter Glas/Passepartout gerahmt. Nicht ausgerahmt. Maße Abbildung (Durchmesser): 18,0 cm. Maße Rahmen: 31,0 x 37,0 cm. Rahmen wenig berieben, Blatt teils leicht gedunkelt. Insgesamt noch sehr guter Zustand.
Original steel engraving by John James Hinchliff after J. Altnach Lange. The engraving is beautifully hand-colored, with a typographic description below the image. It depicts a view of the Isartor (Isar Gate) with numerous figures in the foreground. Framed in a gilt wooden frame behind glass and a passe-partout. Not examined out of the frame. Image dimensions: 10.0 x 16.0 cm. Frame dimensions: 26.0 x 30.5 cm. The frame is chipped, with two small areas of gilding loss. Overall, it is in very good condition.
