Vorderer Innendeckel mit eingeklebter Verlagsanzeige. Widmungsblatt mit Namenseintrag von alter Hand. Die zweite Lage gelockert, Bindung jedoch stabil. Gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar, innen schön erhalten. First edition. English language edition. Without the map. With 10 plates in b/w, bound to the spine. Full cloth binding of the times with gilt embossed title on spine. Cover lightly rubbed, outer folds with long tears (7-8 cm). Front inner cover with mounted publishers ad. Dedication page with one name inscription by old hand. Second layer of the book lightly loosened, binding nevertheless solid. Nearly fine copy, nicely preserved on the inside.
