1. Auflage. Französischsprachige Ausgabe. Mit zahlreichen Schwarz-Weiß-Abbildungen. Einbände an den Kanten deutlich berieben, Außenfalze und Kapitale mit Fehlstellen im Bezug. Verso einem Vorsatzblatt kleiner Stempel, ein Vortitel mit Namenseintrag. Ein Frontispiz mit Randausschnitt (ca. 3 x 17 cm) ohne Bildverlust. Die ersten 5 Blätter in beiden Bänden sowie die letzten 4 Blätter in Band 2 stärker braunfleckig. Schnitte und Blattränder teils etwas braunfleckig. Gute, innen gute bis sehr gute Exemplare. First edition. 2 volumes. French language edition. With many illustrations in b/w. Half leather bindings with gilt embossed title on spines, marbled cover paper and gilt upper cut edges. Covers significantly rubbed at the margins, outer folds as well as upper and lower spines with small missing parts. Verso one endpaper one small seal, one half title with name inscription. One frontispiece with a cut out at the upper margin, no image loss (appr. 3 x 17 cm). The first 5 sheets in each volume foxy, spotted, also the last 4 sheets in volume 2. Cut edges and sheets at the margins partly spotted, foxy. Good copies, nearly fine on the inside.
